Though international trade is viewed as the engine of economic growth, it has negative impact on environment in the process of production, transport and consumption. The reasons for the conflict between trade and environment lie in the drawback of economic man hypothesis, the production and trade mode based on traditional economic ideas ignoring the connection among ecology, environment and human economic society.
