Abstract
An approach to design a unidirectional antenna with wideband impedance matching and stable radiation pattern is presented. By employing several kinds of coupling feed structures, wideband impedance matching is achieved. Through a rational design of a box-shaped reflector and the position of the antennas, stable radiation pattern can be obtained. Several wideband antennas with different coupling feed structures are investigated in this paper. Some of them have been fabricated and tested. The measured results agree well with the simulated results.
