Abstract :
CAN bus communication network have the advantage of high-speed communication, high reliability and long-distance transmission in ocean observatory. One kind of data acquisition system based on CAN bus is designed in this paper. The system is designed using C8051F040 as microcontroller. The hardware block diagram is described in detail. The modular software flow charts of data acquisition, communication initialization, data transmission and data reception is given. The realization of the design method is simple, reliable, easy to node expansion, and the performance is stable after test in lab. It requires test in the marine environment.
