Abstract :
This paper presents a novel dual-band bandpass filter using dual-band trisection stepped-impedance resonators (SIRs) and stepped-line inverters. In the proposed filter, the trisection SIR is introduced as a dual-band resonator, and the stepped-line inverter consists of three section transmission lines. The proposed filter has been analyzed, fabricated and measured. Simulation and measurement results are found to be in good agreement.
