Abstract :
This paper proposes a transformerless 4-leg inverter, the multiple capabilities of which include current conditioning, voltage restoration and uninterruptible power supply. The effectiveness of the 4th leg is carefully outlined, while the system´s general performance and flexibility is intensively investigated. Simulations are carried out and experimental results of a prototype are presented to validate the proposed approach
