Abstract
It is very common for electricity and magnetism to exist at the same time. However, more research is conducted on electricity than on ferromagnetism. Different materials have their own permeability. Hence, we need to know the exact numeral data for their permeability, both real and imaginary parts, because the complex permeability can explain whether the system is losing or storing energy. In this article, we focus on only Fe-Co materials. Instead of using sophisticated measurement techniques, we derive simple equations and use coils to determine the permeability of Iron-Cobalt compositions with and without magnetization. Also, we present the relationship between frequency, especially low frequencies (2-30 kHz), and the complex permeability of Fe-Co materials.
