Knowledge has been regarded as one key factor that enterprises should own, if they want to survive and maintain the core competencies in the Knowledge Economy Age. In order to obtain, use and create much more knowledge, enterprises have started to introduce the Industry-University-Research Institutes Cooperation (IURC), and it has become the significant method to accept knowledge and achieve innovation. Whether the knowledge can transfer effectively is the crucial problem in the process of IURC. However, the stickiness of knowledge hinders the knowledge transfer and affects the performance of cooperation ultimately. This paper mainly analyzes the causes of sticky knowledge based on noise theory, and proposes advices to decrease the stickiness of knowledge on technological and institutional level in the end.
