Abstract :
This paper describes DISA´s requirements for a information dissemination management/advanced intelligent network that investigates new or emerging technologies associated with DISN and other DoD transmission networks. The primary thrust to develop a conversion path for the merging of data, video, and voice transmission. A secondary goal is to improve information awareness/information assurance while reducing the need for transmission of duplicative information. Lastly, a roadmap is developed to enable the ultimate end users to access the information in real-time with little or no wasted time and effort
