Abstract
The degrees to which clutter plus noise is canceled by the classical radar receiver using a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) and by the adaptive radar receiver based on a transversal filter are compared. Both linear and nonlinear behavior of the receivers are considered. Rectangular triangular, and Hanning windows are applied to the data as part of the DFT processing
