  • Abstract
    Switch-array module should exhibit low insertion loss, low cross talk, as well as small size and low cost. We have developed two types of low-loss 16 x 16 LiNbO3 optical waveguide switch array modules. The first type of switch is a re-arrangeable non-blocking switch array using a dilated-Benes configuration. The second type of switch is a strictly non-blocking switch array using a tree configuration
