Abstract :
Different multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) techniques are designed for different decision making types and also may be suited for different application or domains. The ability to identify a suitable MCDM technique is important. This paper proposes an evaluation framework to identify suitable MCDM techniques for Business-to-Business (B2B) collaboration. The specific needs of B2B collaborations are considered in this framework development. This proposed evaluation framework consists of three main categories of considerations; Model Formulation, Automation Practicality and Quality of Solution. An assessment using the first two categories of the proposed framework is also discussed, as a case study of how this evaluation framework can be used.
