  • Abstract
A pulsewidth modulation (PWM) inverter was designed and tested to be used with a photovoltaic (PV) system to satisfy the tracking property required for the purpose of maximum power point (MPP) operation. With such an inverter, two goals should be achieved: harmonic minimization and voltage control to follow the MPP. Harmonic elimination techniques are adopted with additional conditions on the voltage amplitude to follow the MPP tracking (MPPT)
