Abstract :
For multicomponent nonlinear systems the existence of a Lyapunov function in the form of linear combination of Lyapunov functions for artificial subsystems is proven. The latter have a clear physical meaning in technical applications. The obtained stability criterion is intended for separate analysis and design of each component. Examples are given
