Global need for communications in developed and developing countries for voice, data, video and multimedia applications will require advanced terrestrial and satellite networks; implementing ISDN and broadband ISDN capabilities. There will be 170 million active Internet users by the year 2010 globally and over 90 million multimedia users in the USA alone.
