Abstract :
The paper deals with the electromagnetic compatibility between a traditional Italian DC railway lines and the new Italian High Speed/High Capacity AC railway lines. In particular, the aim of this work is to analyze the possible interference sources between the two signaling systems in order to avoid malfunctioning and safety problems. Moreover the adopted solution to electrically separate the two supply systems will be analyzed and discussed. For this purpose, an electromagnetic software model of the whole system has been implemented and many simulation will be presented.
