Abstract :
In the design process of modern communication systems, it is more and more required to be able to predict accurately the performances of the TX-RX chains. That means that the needs in terms of system level simulation tools and of macros-models become important. In this context, this paper presents a modeling of basic functions of a communication chain with an advanced implementation of a power amplifier using Volterra series. Modeling and simulation are presented in the Scilab/Scicos environment which is an efficient tool
