Abstract
In this paper, a new algorithm for parametric estimation of multiple incoherently distributed sources is proposed. Our approach consists first to toeplitz the estimated covariance matrix, and then to use an adaptive processing by exploiting the first column vector of the noise-free covariance matrix. Compared with other known methods, our technique exhibits a better estimation performance in a single incoherently distributed source case, especially for a large source spreading
