  • Abstract
This paper addresses the treatment of cardiac signal with a processor specialized in speech processing. To do this, a system of collection and digitization of cardiac signal has been implemented and processing algorithms have been developed. Our work focuses on the extraction and processing of the cardiac signal in real time. the Texas Instruments TMS320C6713 DSP development board specializing in audio treatment is used for analog heart signal acquisition and a filtering algorithms are developed and implemented on the DSP to extract the useful signal from noise to save on SDRAM in order to possible use. To confirm our results, we applied our algorithms on some digital signals from the MIT database loaded through a reverse process of digitization.
