Abstract :
In this paper, it is presented how to use FDTD to analyze the transmission and reflection characteristic of the composite materials (epsi < 0) and comparing it with another experiment data. By analyzing the shielding effectiveness of the composite materials to different EMP further, the studies indicate that the composite materials can not only lower the breadth of the incidence wave but also prevent it from leaking out. It is helpful to apply composite materials in the domain of electromagnetic shielding
