Abstract
The following topics are dealt with: the task of building efficient and effective iterative error control decoder; iterative decoding of LDPC; pairwise joint probability propagation in BICM-ID; windowed iterative source-channel decoding with delay constraints; turbo code decoder for LTE advanced base station application; design and implementation of a near maximum likelihood decoder for cortex codes; and LDPC codes over Rayleigh fading channel.
