Abstract :
Nowadays, Green communication technology is one of the most promising technologies of next wireless generation network. It plays an important role in saving energy, reducing network operation costs and protecting environment. In this paper, the energy consumption of different component in a wireless network is collected. The relationship between the energy efficiency and spectrum in the typical wireless network is analyzed and modeled based on LTE system. Simulation results verify the energy efficiency-spectrum tradeoffs in cellular networks with single cell, multi-cell and co-channel interference.
