Abstract
The interference process in an unslotted ALOHA channel with power capture is presented and used to obtain the channel throughput. In the model considered, each station chooses a power level at random from a given set for each packet transmitted. It is shown that unslotted ALOHA with power capture can achieve an ideal throughput of 0.26
