Abstract :
An overview is presented of a CAD system, called Cello, developed for the design of analog macrocells. The motivations for the project and how they affected the specifications of Cello are reviewed. The design methodology, the tools imbedded in Cello to aid the design, and some of the most important data structures and their interrelationships are discussed
