Abstract :
In this paper, we study the blind channel estimation and multiuser detection for quasi-synchronous MC-CDMA MIMO system with space-time block codes (STBC). Considering the Alamout´s STBC scheme that involves two transmit antennas and multiple receive antennas, a sub space-based blind channel estimation for the STBC MC-CDMA system is proposed. Based on the first order perturbation theory, the mean-square error (MSE) of the channel estimation is derived. The weight analysis is obtained such that half of computational cost is reduced. Besides, both the forward backward averaging technique and the eigenspace technique are presented to enhance the performance of multiuser detection Finally, numerical simulations are given to evaluate and compare the proposed channel estimation and symbol detection techniques.
