Abstract
In this paper, we develop space-time (ST) Rake receivers for time division synchronous code division multiple access (TD-SCDMA) base stations. The design and analysis of the CDMA system with array antennas are presented. Based on CDMA codes and their spatial information, the Rake algorithm combined the multi-beamforming is provided. The calculating formulas for interference plus noise ratio (SINR) and bit error rate (BER) have been derived. Simulations show that the ST Rake receiver is effective, and the TD-SCDMA systems with array antenna can get higher system capacity and can be of better performance than presented TD-SCDMA systems.
