Abstract :
Based on the three-valued characteristic of Gold codes, a kind of improved Gold code, which is biased with a constant direct current on a Gold code, is proposed. We call it the biased Gold code. From the analysis and simulation, we can see that its correlation characteristics are improved. According to the results of simulation, the BER performance of the system with a biased Gold code is superior to that of the traditional Gold code system.
