Abstract :
The paper explains the power quality study conducted in an IT Park, to investigate the critical electrical problems caused by the neutral loading, harmonics, unbalance and poor power factor and the development of 500kVAR four-leg full-bridge active filter as solution for PQ issues. The selected control strategy ensures instantaneous control of current through each phase and neutral of the shunt active filter. The experimental results verifying the performance of the active filter are also presented.
