Theory circle and governments have been dedicated to solve the problem of the relationship between government and market, and they have made an encouraging progress. But those researches have been more committed to the concrete analysis of specific issues from a specific perspective than from a macro perspective. So, this paper exploring thoroughly the difference between western countries and China based on the analysis of theory and practice evolution of the relationship between government and market, to promote the coordination of government and the market and to provide a new perspective and thinking.
