Southeast China is typhoon-prone area with the active season from May to October. Vulnerability to tropical cyclones is becoming pronounced nowadays because of the fastest population growth in coastal regions. In view of the existing state of typhoon disaster prevention and mitigation, it is very important to optimize towns, villages and construction layout. This paper studies the main reasons which lead to house damaged by the typhoon, and points out questions which existing in house-building in the coastal villages and towns, then some suggestions are given. such as, the security system and technical services network, overall planning, and science site, a reasonable design, a pilot, strengthen guidance to enhance awareness of the masses of peasants Typhoon disaster mitigation, flood prevention and improved overall rural residential typhoon hedge and security capabilities.
