Abstract :
This article presents the design of a electromechanical energy conversion composed by an electromagnetic device that uses a maritime buoy vertical oscillation as a source of prime energy to feed a flashing system of a signaling buoy called eclipsor. The eclipsor´s load curve is obtained and the input power is calculated. The construction of a radial permanent magnets brushless, slotless, double-rotor generator is proposed. The rotor motion is provided by its mass decentralization that is resonant with the wave´s motion. The double rotor increases the machine´s magnetic loadability needed to work in a very slow driving speed.
