Abstract :
We derive fast algorithm for computing inner-outer factorization of an epic H∞ transfer function G. The algorithm requires computation of the Schur form of an N×N matrix where N is the McMillan degree of G. The only assumption we make on G is surjectivity of its value at infinity-the function G may have zeros on the imaginary axis
