Abstract :
Presents an analysis model of an AVLS (automatic vehicle leading system) in incineration plants using timed Petri nets (TPNs). In order to lead vehicles which are used to carry refuse effectively, we suggests three scheduling methods which are used to grant priority and evaluate performance among them. A series of actions, from entrance to exit of vehicles, are the same cyclic movements except dumping places. Each of the vehicles is progressed according to the condition of peripheral equipment and it is represented by a TPN. We show an effective scheduling method for determining how many vehicles can be handled and the least times taken under limiting conditions
