Abstract
D.B. Leeson´s oscillator noise model (see Proc. IEEE, vol.54, p.329-30, Feb. 1966) and its limitations are examined. A modified model, without the limitations and based on oscillator analysis in the immittance domain, is stated. Computer-aided analysis is used to set up and demonstrate the oscillator operation in accordance with the model
