A New Approach to Using Simulation Software in the Electrmagnetics Curriculum

Summary from only given, as follows. This paper discusses a possible electromagnetics curriculum based on the latest generation of computer based electromagnetic simulation tools. The design of the leaching programme is justified by the results of earlier course designs based on previous versions of simulations tools. The response from students to the use of simulation techniques in the learning process is positive enough to consider a major reorientation in the way in which electromagnetic fields are taught.
