Abstract :
For a class of Networked Control System (NCS), the factors affecting the control performance are analyzed. And a method to design a networked predictive controller is introduced to compensate for an unknown network transmission delay. The system is divided into two parts: the controller side and the plant side. The former is to generate a set of control predictions. The latter is to compensate for the random delay of network. Besides, the simulation and a practical experiment is done to compare several control methods. The results of the comparison are also analyzed.
