Abstract :
This paper presents a multi-motor drive system based on a direct power converter used to drive two motors on the same shaft. The proposed power converter topology eliminates the requirement for DC-link components, reducing the weight and volume of the system. Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify and validate the proposed system.
