  • Abstract
Radar antennas offer jamming resilience by providing a controlled radiation pattern such that minimal gain can be directed towards the source of jamming. In this paper we present our efforts towards evaluating the jamming cancellation performance of a number of adaptive beamforming techniques, using data collected from a 32-element digital array when wideband jammers, placed in the far-field of the array, were used as sources of jamming. The jammer cancellation techniques investigated included Σ-Aux sidelobe cancellation, Σ-Δ mainlobe cancellation, and fully adaptive array cancellation techniques. Cancellation ratio, null-depth and antenna pattern are used as the quantitative measures of ECCM performance throughout this work
