GoldenCrops: A software tool for analysis of a social network

In this paper, we describe the design of a software tool that we call GoldenCrops for analysis of a social network. We analyse the evolution or growth of a social network using GoldenCrops. We compare the evolution or growth of a social network computed using GoldenCrops with the evolution of some real life social networks. We observe that the trend of evolution of the real life social networks is similar to that obtained using GoldenCrops. Further, using GoldenCrops, we analyze graph-theoretic properties of a social network such as distribution of degrees of nodes and clustering coefficient.
