Abstract :
Summary from only given, as follows. The effect of conductor-strip-thickness on the quasi-TEM characteristics of multiconductor striplines in analysed by using the rectangular boundary division method proposed in a previous paper [4], which uses Fourier series for formulating the problem spline-function and variational principle for obtaining practical solutions. It is similar to FEM, but has the principal advantages, namely simpler and obvious in mathemathics, smaller computation contents, more flexible for application, higher accuracy and quicker convergence, a closed form of solution (not a discrete form of solution) in each subregion and element division not necessary.
