Abstract :
We added azodicarbamide (ADC) to protect carbon nanotube (CNT) paste from degradation. The agent produces nitrogen gas by heat at 190-210. Nitrogen (N2) acts as the anti-oxidation gas for CNT. The measurement of field emission carried out using a diode structure showed that the electron emission of the agent-added CNT films uniformly had a field of 5.49 V/μm at a current density of 100 μm/cm2 (1/500 duty). Furthermore, the lifetime of CNT samples was about five times as much as that of the pristine ones.
