Abstract
Calculation of the resolving capacity based on Rayleigh criterion doesn\´t take into account the peculiarities of psychophysiological sense of visual image of the acoustic signal obtained. To estimate these laws we have performed computer modeling the process of visualization under conditions of scanning with the information presentation in "gray" scale. The brightness as a function of the signal amplitude was supposed to be linear. Algorithm of modeling the visualization process is based on calculating two-dimensional normalized aperture for every point of the control region, on which there is a diagram of the directivity as spot light. Its brightness is related to the value of the directivity envelope diagram (DD) by proportional dependence.
