Abstract :
Efficient and flexible development of a multimedia services based on open networking architecture requires a capability of detecting errors occurred while services are provided to customers. This capability provides time saving to service developers and robust services to customers. In this paper, we present a distributed object monitoring system which visualizes service status and the connection and information flows between interacting objects. To prove the effectiveness of this monitoring system, we have implemented the VCS(Video Conferencing Service) under TINA (Telecommunications Information Networking Architecture) concepts. The monitoring system has been successfully demonstrated with the operation of multimedia service developed
