Abstract :
The methodology is based on the generation of cardiac polynomial descriptors using genetic algorithms (GAs). A mathematics template of cardiac signal, named descriptor, is using to evaluate differences between individual beats from high-resolution electrocardiography (HRECG) registers and average beats. Irregular activity from the myocardium, as ectopic beats, is detected using this method, which offers a quantitative technique to identify abnormalities in propagation of the cardiac impulse signal
