  • Abstract
Recently, the number of users of media services including video-sharing sites has been increasing as broadband networks spread. Since the number of media-streaming services is expected to increase in the broadcasting business, a lot of telecommunication companies think that the media services platform will become important in the future. To achieve such a platform, there are some requests in which systems are able to acquire data from NW easily and apply multi-step processing. Therefore, we have proposed a system that can freely process the streaming data on a network. In this paper, we report the arrangement of system devices, and the method to select data processing units, and the method that enables users to combine processing components easily. In addition, we report feasibility according to the evaluation result obtained in the prototype data processing unit. As a result, general users can add a variety of effects to media streams including existing services.
