Abstract
Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.
The presenting author of this paper has the option to appeal this decision by contacting TPII@ieee.org.
Aiming at the ubiquitous uncertain demand, this article expands on the existing second degree price discrimination pricing tactic, and studies two problems under linear stochastic demand — the best demand interval and fixed discount rate. It is shown that the proportion of consumer surplus for the limit is 0.5. Furthermore, this article discusses the existence of optimal fixed discount rate and further compares the two price discrimination on the influence for profit.
