Abstract :
In order to solve the continuous welding problem of steel radiator with aluminum wings T-tube intersecting line, a new dual-torch welding machine CNC system based on 6K4 four-axis motion controller was designed. Using the typical control structure of “PC+multi-axis motion controller” to developed the welding CNC system. The upper machine using integrated computer and the lower machine using 6K4 motion controller. The upper machine completes the generation and treatment of intersecting line´s mathematical model though software system module. Then it generates NC program which 6K4 four-axis motion controller can identify and downloads NC program to controller which is used to complete motion control of servo systems. The practices prove that the welding robot system has stable performance and reliable operation and it meets the users´ need.
