Abstract :
The paper is using the MAXSURF software to model a SKUD 18 Class boat hull, and using the SPAN to research the hull performance of the SKUD 18 Class. We can get the data about the hull hydrodynamic of the SKUD 18 Class in different wind speed. By calculating, it help us to initial control the ship at different wind angles of the sail surface propulsion, sail plane lateral force, hull resistance, sail heeling moment of plane, ship and other indicators of change in torque characteristics.
