Abstract :
A new system for marine in-situ spectrophotometric measurement system is described. An improved solution is provided to overcome the weakness of current spectrophotometric detection system. LEDs are chosen as light source and photodiodes and demodulating circuit as precision optical detector. Combined with micro-flow Pump and valve as well as small-volume flow cell, it is reducing system noise, power and reagent consumption. pH and CO2 measurement and experiment is designed to verify the performance of system. The results show that the system noise is less than 0.005 and during an operating cycle. Its power consumption is less than 90mWh. Its reagent consumption is only 0.75mL. Thus it can satisfy the request of in-situ detection.
