  • Abstract
The methods of documentary data collecting, mathematical statistics as well as the grey weight analysis in the grey theory system are used to analyze the influencing factors in the 400m performance. Results indicate that: the time used in the first and fourth 100m of the race exerts great influence for the final result. Therefore, the training method needs to be improved in order to raise the competitiveness of the sport achievements, in particular the training in the first and fourth 100m period should be strengthened. So this paper will provide some information and suggestions for the coaches to guide players how to train in a scientific and reasonable way as well as improving the training methods.
