Abstract
This paper established a method of determining trace amounts of triphenylarsine in water by solid-phase microextraction and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (with selective ion monitoring). The experimental results indicated that the recoveries are more than 95%, the lowest detected concentration is 0.0005 mg/L, and the relative standard deviation of 7 times determining is 5.3%. This method could satisfy the requirements of destruction of abandoned chemical weapons by Japan in China.
